A client of Insight Global is seeking a General Ledger Accountant. This position will be responsible for maintaining and managing the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Your key duties will include preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. You will also analyze financial data, generate reports, and support audits. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software are essential for success in this role. The permanent salary for this position varies from $55-65,000 depending on years of experience and qualifications.

· Education - Bachelor's degree in a related field
· Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
· Experience utilizing ERP system such as: Oracle, SAP, or ADP.
· Ability to conduct a bank reconciliation manually and navigating through discrepancies
· Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Access, Outlook
· Experience in being invovled in cross-functional responsibilities and teams
