Job Description

An employer in the Houston area is looking for an Entry Level Fire Installer to work on commercial buildings. This individual must be reliable, hardworking and driven to obtain this job. Their key responsibilities will include: Pulling wire as directed, trimming devises as directed, installing smoke detectors and assisting with testing alarms.

Required Skills & Experience

High School Diploma at a minimum
Physically capable - Full day of working and on feet. Must be able to carry 15-50lbs
Comfortable working on ladder
Reliable and driven / hardworking
Safety knowledge / will take it seriously
Any interest or background in electronics and wiring
Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material and support to -assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks.
Work with low voltage devices for the operation of low voltage equipment.
Experience with hand tools. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Knowledge of pulling wire
Knowledge of trimming devises
Installing smoke detectors
Assisting with testing
Commerical experience
