A premier employer in Downtown Houston is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join the team in actively providing financial information and analysis to support multiple functions developing their LNG project. The Senior Financial Analyst will coordinate and participate in the design, testing, implementation, and review of complex manual and automated financial and accounting systems and processes. They will manage monthly process for analyzing and updating operating budgets and be responsible for building Excel models to support the continued development of the company's financial modeling infrastructure.
This person must continually evaluate financial processes and identify and implement changes to drive efficiency and accuracy improvements. They will be communicating and collaborating with executive leadership across the company to support the budgeting and reporting processes. They will also need to independently prepare advanced ad-hoc analysis, reports, and presentations as needed.

5+ years of experience in Finance, Banking, Consulting, Corporate Development, or Economic Planning for an Energy Company
2+ years experience creating automated financial models based on real time data
Strong Excel modeling skills and ability to model, run and analyze statistical and financial data
Strong experience with economic models and quantitative analysis
Demonstrate strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills emphasizing attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present analysis results coherently and succinctly.
Bachelors degree
