Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager with a background in Civil Engineering to join one of our largest Civil Engineering clients based in Texas. This person will be joining a team of 10 others including a Senior Project Manager, Project Managers, and EIT Engineers. This person will be reporting directly into the Sr. Project Manager in Katy, TX. This role will be responsible for overseeing and administering civil transportation projects. Projects include roadway and interstate construction, highway extension, roundabout installation, and more. The majority of projects will be associated with TxDOT, and this individual should be familiar with TxDOT procedures and Open Roads Designer. Aspects of the job include project and staff management, QA/QC of deliverables, client relations, meetings, team leadership, planning, analysis, design, bid/construction phases and regulatory clearance. This position will be in office and visiting job sites (20% of the time), and will be a 9/80 schedule. BS in related field (i.e. Civil Engineering, etc.)
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
7+ years of experience with MicroStation, Geopak (or Open Roads) and TxDOT procedures
Experience with Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and transportation projects
Ability to review plans, specs, and contract documents
