An employer is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join their team 1 day a week in Austin, TX. The Principal Engineer will be responsible for hands-on java spring boot development, as well as leading full-lifecycle projects on the platform and mentoring junior developers. The team is modernizing their patient portal system to help improve usability, performance, and flexibility. The Lead will work closely with an agile team consisting of one Scrum Master, one Product Owner, one UX Designer, and a few engineers. This person should have experience designing and architecting complex platform solutions.
