Oil, Products & Gas (OPG) Law has a team of Legal Analysts (paralegals) who provide transactional support for the Downstream, Chemicals and Midstream (DCM) businesses intellectual property transactions.
This contractor position requires a highly skilled Legal Analyst who is knowledgeable in contracting and exhibits strong leadership and influencing skills. The ideal candidate is an experienced Legal Analyst who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced environment, is technology proficient, and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should also excel at solving problems and exhibits a high-level of initiative.

Minimum of four years of experience drafting, revising, and negotiating a variety of agreements including confidentiality and other technology agreements.
Paralegal certificate from an accredited program or Bachelors degree.
Ability to effectively analyze and communicate legal issues and collaborate across broad functional and organizational lines (e.g., business partners, subject matter experts, attorneys and law professionals).
Prior experience as a contracts analyst, contracts specialist, or contracts manager.
Chemistry background or degree, and/or experience supporting chemical technologies.
Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
Prior experience using Sirion Labs, Smart, or other contracting management platforms.
