Insight Global is looking for a Lead Cloud Engineer to join a client remotely in Mexico. The Lead Cloud Engineer will be responsible for working with the cloud architect and cloud engineers to break down and deliver designed solutions by leading the analysis, architecture, design, and development of cloud solutions in a customer centric approach. The lead will provide input and direction for work breakdown and delivery. This individual will proactively monitor and manage platform infrastructure and identify and raise technical, business, and operational risks and opportunities for increased automation. The lead should have previous experience managing direct reports, including people development (coaching, mentoring and skill development) and performance management. The lead cloud engineer will be involved in working on customers' solutions and should have strong communication skills.

- 7+ years of experience working as a cloud engineer and 1+ year of experience as a lead
- Experience working on Azure and knowledge of AWS and GCP
- Experience with general automation including PowerShell, AWS CLI, Ansible, Python, or Bash scripting
- Proficient in Azure services such as B2C, Function Apps, and DevOps
- Foundational understanding of Azure PaaS services and Cloud design patterns
- Experience utilizing container solutions such as Docker, Kubernetes or AKS and CICD pipelines
- Experience with configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM etc...)
- Knowledge of security and IAM / Role Based Access Controls in Azure, management of Azure Application/Network Security Groups, Azure Policy, and Azure Management Groups and Subscriptions
