Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a TS/SCI Cyber Operator to join a federal customer in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Proactively searching for indicators of compromise (IOCs) within networks.
- Identifying and patching system weaknesses.
- Investigating and mitigating cyberattacks when they occur.
- Staying updated on the latest cyber threats and attack vectors.
- Employing a variety of cybersecurity tools for monitoring, analysis, and response.

Required Skills & Experience

-TS/SCI Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other related field
- 5-10 years of experience in a DOD systems based environment with an emphasis in Defensive Cyber Operations and related tools
- Skilled in using a variety of cybersecurity tools and technologies (e.g., Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, threat intelligence platforms, etc.).
- Strong understanding of the CVA-H tools and their capabilities
- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls)
- Ability to collect, analyze, and preserve digital evidence.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Security+
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
