Job Description

An employer in Houston, TX is looking for an entry level Project Manager to join the team. Responsibilities for this role include conducting meetings for the current IT projects going on, utilizing Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets for: action logs, planning, testing, start and end dates, etc. The IT projects consist of creating new services for customers upon their requests which is then brought to the development team to present. He or she must be comfortable conducting and scheduling meetings, addressing questions/concerns of project status, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required Skills & Experience

2-4 years of experience as a Project Manager OR a Bachelor's Degree

Experience with action logs in excel and organizing Power Points

Experience with application development projects

Strong organization skills, ability to schedule and coordinate meetings

Bilingual in Spanish/English

Willing to work onsite as needed (possibly 1 week out of the month when out of state team flies in for collaboration)

Experience working with applications in Azure (or any cloud services)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previously worked on a mobile and web application with new releases, updates

Industry related expereince - construction, but on the IT side
