A client of Insight Global is seeking a Lead Developer in their Houston, TX office. This person will be leading a team of developers to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions. They are responsible for recommending the technical direction of projects, ensuring adherence to coding standards, and guiding developers in a global enterprise. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience as a software developer with at least two years of leadership experience and be a self-starter. This person should be local to Houston, as in-office will be required for meetings as needed. Salary: $120,000-$140,000.

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
-7 years of experience as a software developer, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
-Proficiency in programming languages such as MS .NET C#
-Technical understanding of key technologies including Angular, Webhooks, REST, MassTransit service bus, databases, and Azure Services
-Experience with financial or electronic payment software
-Experience working in an Agile environment
