IT Security Analyst

Insight Global is looking for a IT Security Analyst to join an Education Client's Security team in San Antonio, Texas. This individual will be overseeing user access accounts, including provisioning and de-provisioning, primarily from systems. Day to Day duties include vendor assessments throughout the Alamo Colleges District, VPN requests, maintaining internal security policies, penetration testing, and staying current with risk management practices. Security tools used include SPLUNK, Rapid 7 and Crowd strike. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills and be able to effectively collaborate with a team of other IT individuals.

- 5+ years security analysis experience

- 1-2 years of Networking experience working with routers, switches, servers or Firewalls or experience working with SQL databases and Linux operating system in an application related role.

- Bachelor's degree in a IT related field

Pursuing a security certification

-Experience working with SPLUNK, Rapid 7 or Crowd Strike

-Any security certification/credential
