Network Project Manager

An employer is looking for a Network Project Manager in the Richardson, TX. Your primary responsibility will be to manage, oversee and drive the deployment of conventional and next generation core network technologies; including mutli-service edge router (MSE), core, transit label and gateway routers; core network Ethernet switches and servers, and the supporting host of network ancillary/ infrastructure equipment. You will partner with stakeholders to develop project plans, timelines and schedules. You will manage multiple vendors (Turf vendors, equipment, etc.) and drive them to ensure timelines are hit. Additional tasks will include collaborating with multiple teams and schedule status meetings to update leadership, cut POs for vendors, ensure projects are not falling behind and be the driving force behind completion on time and within budget.

5+ years experience in project management
Telecom/ network engineering background, experience with Transport and IP technologies
Experience with fiber construction/ engineering in the field, installations and new builds
Vendor management experience (Turf vendors, equipment vendors, etc.)
Experience with SAP and project tracking software (Clarity, MS Project, etc.)

Military experience
PMP
Bachelor's degree
