A midstream Oil & Gas client of Insight Global's is seeking a GIS Developer. As a GIS Developer, this person would be responsible for designing and implementing web-based geographic information systems (GIS) using various programming languages, software packages, and databases. This role will involve creating and maintaining GIS applications, integrating GIS with other systems, and ensuring data quality. This is a permanent placement at the client, and the annual salary is expected to be $90,000-$145,000, determined on years of experience.

5+ years of experience coding with front-end technologies (HTML, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript) to build responsive and user-friendly interfaces
5+ years of back-end development experience with .NET and SQL Server
Extensive GIS knowledge to handle spatial data, map visualization, and geospatial analysis
Familiarity with ArcGIS JavaScript API for web mapping applications
Experience with ArcGIS Pro or ArcGIS Desktop for geospatial analysis and data management
Understanding of Microsoft Azure services for cloud-based GIS solutions
Knowledge of Feature Manipulation Engine (FME) for data transformation and integration
Ability to write Python script for geoprocessing tasks
Familiarity with pipeline data modeling, Pipeline Open Data Standard (PODS)
Understanding of pipeline referencing systems, ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing (APR)
Experience with ArcGIS Portal and its integration with enterprise systems (ArcGIS Portal/Enterprise Federation and ArcGIS Online)
