Job Description

Insight Global's client is seeking a Project Engineer to provide field support for utility-scale projects within the renewable energy sector North of Corpus Christi, Texas. This individual will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with overall project execution, addressing the needs of the field staff, participating in conceptual development, and helping to ensure that the project is constructed on time and according to the design specifications. Additionally, the Project Engineer will assist in the preparation and maintenance of budget reports, contract administration, schedule management, and overall safety and quality control.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Basic knowledge of construction safety and regulations
- Strong mathematical and problem solving skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply IFC drawings and job specifications for civil and electrical work
- Experience with computer programs such as Viewpoint, Procore, MS Project, and MS Office

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience Working on Solar or Renewable Energy Construction sites
- SWPPP Training
