An MEP firm in the Austin, TX area is searching for a Junior Mechanical Engineer. The individual will document the MEP designs in AutoCAD or Revit for various commercial real estate & office building projects. This person will be required to collaborate with the mechanical, electrical and plumbing design staff so that the design is completely coordinated amongst disciplines. Field visits will also be required to document pre-construction, active construction and post construction to ensure designs are being executed properly and effectively.
The salary range for this role is $70,000- $80,000.

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from a ABET accredited university
- 0-2 years of experience within MEP design for commercial office buildings
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel & Word
- Self- Starter mentality
- Willing to learn the Uniform Mechanical Code, Uniform Plumbing Code and the International Energy Conservation Code
