This position will work within Apache's network operations team to support Apache's enterprise network and contribute to projects requiring network and voice expertise.
This role will be primarily responsible for the following:
* Actively participate in the planning, design, and implementation of network and voice related projects
* Provide technical and architectural support for collaboration related technologies to include, but not limited to Cisco Unified Communications Manager/Unity Connection, Microsoft Teams, Cisco/AudioCodes SBC's and SIP
* Troubleshoot calling routing and voice related issues such as auto attendants, call queuing, voicemail, etc.
* Troubleshoot reported network performance or application performance issues
* Manage and support the network monitoring and configuration management software
* Assist in developing the overall network strategy for Apache globally
* Utilize Apache's service portal to manage and create service requests, outages, and change requests
* Identify, evaluate and recommend technologies using best practices/industry standards
* Identify innovative ways to utilize existing applications and technologies
* Forecast and coordinate management of change for scheduled maintenance weekends
* Effectively communicate with end users and peers around the world
International and Domestic travel may be required
