Insight Global is seeking an experienced Junior Operations Manager to join our foundation repair client's team. As the Operations Manager, you will act as the lynch pin for the client's operations, overseeing 10-15 open construction projects at a time, with each deal averaging $13k. Your role will cover a broad range of operational functions when it comes to residential foundation repair, such as permitting, vendor management, crew management, paperwork processing, and collections. We are seeking a detail oriented individual who is able to grasp the larger picture. Your expertise in preconstruction and permitting, coordinating both crews and third party vendors, Salesforce CRM, QuickBooks, collections, and experience in the residential construction industry will be pivotal in driving our client's success.
Major activities/Key Challenges:
* Professional and consistent interaction with third-party vendors, customers and field personnel.
* Process all incoming agreements and verity accuracy according to scope of work
* Communicate with customer to ensure awareness of entire process and confirm access to property, utilities and such.
* Coordinate between customers, third party vendors and field personnel to ensure seamless operation and timely completion of jobs
* Maintain awareness of where each job is in the project lifecycle and take ownership of facilitating them through to completion.
* Submit all utility locate requests on Tuesdays for all jobs scheduled the following week.
* Coordinate pre-construction meetings and final walkthroughs
* Ensure all payments are collected and posted promptly
* Process credit card transactions
* Generate invoices and submit all necessary paperwork for contractor billing protocol
* Order third party services such as engineering and plumbing
* Use experience and independent judgment to maintain optimized job schedule to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability
* Maintain accurate job files and digital records
* When necessary, assist with answering phone calls and scheduling foundation inspections.

* 3 to 5 total years of relevant experience in a construction coordinator/operations role
* Experience coordinating Third Party Vendors
* Detail Oriented and able to juggle 10-15 projects at a time and working for a company over $10MM in revenue.
* General understanding of construction knowledge
* Experience facilitating payments, working with invoices, and collecting initial payments.
* Forward thinking, problem solver, and ability to take initiative.
* Commercial Plumbing, HVAC or Roofing industry experience translates well.
* Experience in Residential Construction permitting processes.
* Proficient in Salesforce CRM
* Proficient in QuickBook
