Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a part-time Remote Operations Specialist for a full-service grant management and consulting firm. The Operations Specialist is a detail-oriented individual who excels in managing day-to-day operational systems critical to the functioning of the organization. The role involves executing and being responsible for various task areas, including tracking employee resources, invoicing clients, and ensuring all other tasks are completed on-time or early and with 100% accuracy. The Operations Specialist develops and runs comprehensive reports to analyze business functions and key operations, supporting management in informed decision-making. The ideal candidate for this role is a proactive problem solver who can navigate complex operational challenges with ease. This person should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across departments. This position will be on average 30-40 hours worked per week (depending on need) and does NOT include dental, vision, or health benefits!



Responsibilities:





* Develop and run reports that analyze business functions, key operations, and performance metrics;

* Manage all project quoting processes (quote generation, RFPs and delivery);

* Manage day-to-day operational systems that track employee resources, invoicing, and project/contract deadlines;

* Manage all project statuses, budgets, and related invoices;

* Supervise all monthly invoicing and payroll processes to ensure perfect accuracy;

* Manage all contracts (budgets, extensions, etc.) with clients and external vendors; and

* Oversee the delivery of periodic and ad-hoc reports to derive analysis and insight of business functions and performance metrics.

Required Skills & Experience

1-5+ years of experience as an Operations Specialist, Coordinator, or Associate

Experience developing business quotes and RFPs

Experience reading and understanding Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat

Strong research and data analytical Skills

Comfort multitasking and handling multiple requests from different individuals and departments

Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Reliable work-from-home environment- including fast internet connection and quiet place to focus to fully participate in video meetings and conference calls with clients and colleagues

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Prior experience with federal grants and or Notice of Funding Availabilities (NOFAs)
