An employer in the San Antonio, Texas area is looking for a Buyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will identify and procure goods and services required by the organization, using the approved procedures and best practices. This includes but are not limited to contact and negotiate with suppliers, create purchase orders and report to stakeholders about the progress. This person will obtain quotes from vendors and achieve cost savings through bidding, and negotiations. Review, and analyze vendors Bids. Manage all communication with vendors, resolve issues in a timely manner and sustain networking relationships. Issue purchase orders and supplements in accordance with established policies and procedures. Conduct in-depth evaluations of suppliers' performance. Recommend alternative sources of supply to minimize disruptions. Develop long-term continuous improvement supply management agreements with vendors

· Electrical Procurement or Electrical Sales Representative experience.
· Experience with understanding of construction/electrical materials, tools, and consumables.
