Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a CFD Engineer to join their team in Houston, TX. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing current and updated methodologies for fluid dynamics to improve accuracy in simulations. They will implement watertight geometry from SolidWorks or Rhino, implement code in CFD solver for complex models, and utilize multiphysics solutions when applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience in the engineering field using CFD to support design improvements



Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related engineering field



3D Computational Fluid Dynamics



Knowledge of CFD software (Ansys Fluent, CFX, STAR CCM+)



Experience in dealing with complex fluid systems (turbomachinery, pumps, low-pressure environments)



Experience creating CFD code



High-Performance Computing experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Aerospace Experience



Master's or PhD in Engineering
