Insight Global is looking to bring on a Technical writer to the team sitting fully remote in support of a Federal client. The part time Tech writer will be responsible for the following:
* Produce technical documentation and materials for information systems to include software installation guides, user guides, administrative manuals and draft knowledge base articles.
* Prepare standard operating procedures for Service Desk processes.
* Develop documentation for ServiceNow tickets processes.
* Maintain administrative documentation including manuals, end user documents, departmental administrative documentation, software renewal documents, artifacts, position descriptions, and technical processes.
* Prepare reports, draft presentations, briefings, draft end user service maintenance notifications, and process meeting notes using Google Workspace Docs.
* Monitor One-Stop site (Google Site) for out of date materials and end user information. With guidance from the government lead, update content and post to the site.
* Respond to customer inquiries about One-Stop site materials and information through email, chat, or telephone, as needed.
* Review customer correspondence, project plans, data call responses, technical reports, metrics reports and policy documents for correctness, grammar and formatting.
* Maintain library of control system design and implementation documentation, including connectivity diagrams, device information, programming and other application details for specific installations and facilities.
* Develop customer tailored documentation to include project plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Technical Manuals, User Manuals, Quick Reference Guides, and Training Materials as defined in the task order.
