Insight Global is looking for an advanced Jira Architect who will be on a team responsible for the rollout of "Jira 2.0" across the entire company. The company is currently facing a multifaceted set of challenges centered around Jira and the inefficiencies in work management, planning, prioritization, and a lack of standardization and agility in processes. These issues collectively hamper the organization's ability to effectively align activities with strategic objectives and to adapt swiftly to changing needs. This person will work alongside an existing offshore team, running point on international communications and getting the mass rollout in motion. This person will be required to understand Jira in its entirety; including but not limited to Jira software development, Jira service management, various plug-ins, designing of cap credit, live bugs, etc. Once "Jira 2.0" is complete it will be responsible for supporting over 25,000 internal users.

- Experience architecting a Jira program that can support 25,000 users or more.
- Background experience working as the sole person architecting the platform.
- Deep understanding on how to scale and roll out a Jira platform to various organizations within a company.
- Complete understanding and implementation of all 4 types of Jira:
o Jira Work Management
o Jira Software
o Jira Service
o Jira Product Discovery
- Experience working with and communicating with offshore teams.
Examples of what they will be doing/need to have past experience with:
- Design a hierarchical issue type system to streamline initiatives, epics, stories while also using work distribution types: features, risks, defects, and technical debts.
- Establish a program structure and product/component mapping within Jira to mirror our organizational needs.
- Integrate capacity management tools for enterprise-wide resource planning and management.
- Enable OKR (Objectives and Key Results) mapping and dependency management/mapping to improve goal tracking and interdependencies visibility.
- Revamp team structures and live issue management to align with product ownership and ensure efficient resolution processes.
- Designed Enterprise Reporting from Atlassian Analytics that can be used for Jira Hygiene
- Design for seamless integration with Service Now SPM for bi-directional flow
- Experience integrating or rolling out a product-based Jira platform.
- Background in DevOps and how it relates to a Jira platform.
