Salary: 75-90K



As an Environmental Associate Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in our team. Collaborating with a dynamic group of environmental professionals, you'll develop and implement innovative technical solutions for Oil and Gas or Refinery projects. We're seeking candidates who excel in managing projects from the office, forecasting the schedule to ensure project is on track and on budget , and solving complex problems. This position will be more client facing with support from assistant Project Managers.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

o Oversee all phases of environmental projects, including:

Phase I/II Studies

Groundwater and Soil Investigations

Risk Assessments

Remediation and Hydrogeologic Studies

2. Monitored Natural Attenuation:

o Evaluate sites for Monitored Natural Attenuation strategies.

3. Remedial Alternatives Analysis:

o Assess and recommend remedial alternatives.

4. Effective Execution:

o Plan and execute projects efficiently using tools such as:

Project Management Plans

Kickoff Meetings

Resource Planning

Schedules

Team Project Meetings

5. Financial Management:

o Understand financial concepts and manage project budgets effectively.

6. Scopes and Fees:

o Prepare scopes and fees for new or additional work, considering:

Staffing

Rates

Billing Structure

Target Multipliers

Required Skills & Experience

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.

* Experience: 7 years of progressive technical experience within environmental consulting, specifically related to environmental assessment and remediation projects in the field ideally. 2+ within project management of projects.

* Skills:

o Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of federal regulations and an understanding of Texas regulations (TRRP, RCRA, TCEQ, Rail road commission, Local EPA)

o Financial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets and level-load resources.

o Technical Support: Provide high-end technical support on complex projects.

o Communication: Excellent communication skills to engage with clients, regulators, and junior staff.
