Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking an Avionics Director to join their team in the Webster, TX area. This person will be responsible for overseeing avionics systems throughout all stages of integration, from design, production, and test through launch and operation. They will lead the teams that design, develop, test, and deploy, as well as teams that operate, maintain, and troubleshoot avionics systems that are crucial to the operation. They will be overseeing an organization of 50-60 engineers and play a pivotal role in addressing reliability requirements and risk reduction.

Required Skills & Experience

15+ years of management experience in NASA flight hardware development



Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar



Experience leading technical teams of 20+ people



Experience in Life Support Systems or other Criticality 1 development and testing



Formal test and verification activity experience in flight software

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

ISS experience



Experience managing groups of 50+
