Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Data Engineer to join one of our largest financial service clients and sit local to Richardson, Texas. This individual will be joining the Business Intelligence team and have a key role in supporting and working on their data warehouse. There are a lot of exciting projects and products that this team is currently working on. In order to be successful in this role, the most crucial parts of the tech stack needed is strong python programming experience, excellent SQL database experience, hands on experience working with Snowflake, working knowledge of Databricks, and hands on experience working with Airflow. The candidate must be local to Richardson Texas and go onsite 5x a week.

Required Skills & Experience

-3-5+ years of professional working experience as a Data Engineer

-Write software using Python to automate data ingestion and data processing into the Analytical Data Warehouse

-Excellent experience working with SQL databases, including database design

-Strong experience working with Snowflake, Databricks, and Airflow

-Experience supporting the ETL functionality for loading data to a data warehouse allowing business analysts and functional leaders

-Ability to work cross functionally in an SDLC environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Financial services working experience
