Job Description

An Insight Global client in the Houston area is looking for a Telecom Analyst to come onsite five days a week and join the Telecommunications team. This person will be responsible for basic operations, work orders, and resolving tickets. This person will be monitoring existing telecommunication networks, planning and evaluating moderately complex networks and recommending solutions to maintain service levels. This candidate will be adding new users, long distance codes, working within Active Directory, etc. On average this candidate will be responsible for resolving anywhere from 20-25 tickets per week in the client's specific ticketing system (similar to ServiceNow). Lastly, basic telephony skills and experience with remote desktop and server support is required. This person will be reporting to the Telecommunications manager and working alongside the Lead Telecom Analyst.

Required Skills & Experience

2-4 years of experience as a Telecommunications Analyst



2-4 years of experience adding and deleting users



2-4 years of experience working in a ticketing system such as ServiceNow



Experience with Microsoft shop



Experience supporting an enterprise level of internal users



Bachelor's Degree

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Call center experience



Relevant certifications such as A+, Microsoft certifications, etc.
