Job Description

An Oil & Gas client of Insight Global's is looking for a Project Controller to join their team. Currently, this client is going through a massive project to replace their accounting ERP system. This person would be complimenting the current controller role (who governs overall cost estimates, forecasts, etc.) Duties include:

* Vendor hours tracking, review, and management

* Detailed invoice review and reasonableness checks, including T&E

* Trend and KPI development and management

* Earned value assessments

* Owning resource management activities for the program

Required Skills & Experience

Past experience managing time and costs on large scale IT implementations



Ability to communicate effectively across levels and departments, verbal and written



Ability to work in the details and aggregate to an executive summary view



MS Excel, project management systems (SmartSheet)



Data and financial analysis



Critical thinking and problem-solving

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous midstream / pipeline industry expereince



Experience working cross-boarder or offshore (i.e. Canada and the US)



Engineering background for exemplary attention to detail and strong project scheduling
