Insight Global is looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to support their health benefits client here in San Antonio. The BI Manager will provide leadership in the development and advancement of a robust Data Analytics strategy, focused on data warehousing, data mining, data structuring, advanced visualization. They will develop and nurture critical relationships with various business, technology, and medical leaders across the organization, with the goal of developing a robust data analytic platform to meet the organization's core strategic healthcare objectives.
The manager will direct a team of professional software developers providing guidance, expertise, and enforcing best practices for application development and technical documentation. This role is 50% Hands on, doing the same work as the rest of the team. The other 50% is management and speaking with stakeholders.

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, healthcare or related field.
* Experience managing software developers and the system development lifecycle
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare data analysis or a related role preferably in healthcare. Must be recent.
* Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (SQL and Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI).
* Strong SQL skills for querying and retrieving data from complex data sources in a structured format.
* Proficient in aggregating data, preparing, cleaning data and data mining using SQL and Python.
* An advanced degree is preferred
