Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a MongoDB Developer with expert level MongoDB skills and experience with Oracle, Redis, GCP, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Spanner to support a large retail client on both day-to-day support and upcoming upgrades. As a MongoDB administrator, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing the performance and availability of our MongoDB clusters. You will also work closely with the development team to provide guidance and best practices on MongoDB schema design, indexing, security, backup, and recovery. You will also participate in the planning and execution of migration projects from other databases to MongoDB. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience as a MongoDB administrator or developer, and a solid understanding of MongoDB architecture, replication, sharding, and administration tools. You should also have experience with other databases such as Oracle, Redis, GCP, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Spanner, and be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues across different platforms. You should also have excellent communication and collaboration skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
Required Skills & Experience
* 8+ years of experience as a Sr. MongoDB Developer
* Expert level MongoDB skills, including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, performance tuning, and security.
* Experience with Oracle, Redis, GCP, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Spanner databases
* Ability to support a large retail client on both day-to-day operations and upcoming upgrades.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Certification in MongoDB or other relevant technologies is a plus.
