Insight Global is looking for a Drilling Engineer for an employer located in downtown Houston. The Wells Support Center is in place to prevent a catastrophic process safety event and provide business units with workflows and digital solutions to deliver top quartile performance. The DSC provides an additional layer of process safety (well control) support for wells as well as performance support for operations including Deepwater, Base Business and Unconventional asset classes. Delivery of these process safety and performance services puts the DSC at the center of Wells global operations. This role will be onsite in downtown houston working a 14 day on, 14 day off schedule and will rotate day and night shift.
10+ years of experience in a Drilling Engineer role
Must have current well control certification or be able to immediately pass well control school
Minimum of a High School Diploma required, Bachelor of Science-Engineering is preferred
Able to work 14 days on/14 days off, 12- hour shifts (alternating rotations of day and night shift)
Previous experience across multiple areas, onshore and offshore, and various rig types is desired
Remote center/real time operation center experience
Previous operator experience at other oil companies
