An employer in Houston, TX is looking for an Agile Project Manager to join their team. This person will be accountable for helping deliver on large major capital projects and be the liaison between the Business Units and the IT teams. Day to day will include but not be limited to working with business partners to understand business needs, developing project plans, creating timelines, tracking milestones, creating risk mitigation plans, managing budgets, and working with 3rd party vendors. Candidate will also be required to schedule and run daily stand up meetings, reviews, provide leadership and stakeholders with communications, as well as be able to identify gaps for improvement and help strategize to find solutions for enhancement. This person must have strong communication skills, be able to work independently as well as in a team environment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
5-7+ years of Project Management/Scrum Master experience
5-7+ years of experience working in Information Technology
Proficiency with Agile principles
Strong knowledge and understanding of Upstream Oil & Gas
Strong knowledge and understanding of IT vs OT and O&G terminology
