As the Accounting Manager, you will guide a team of accounting professionals as you continuously drive greater efficiencies and lower costs. You will coordinate with company partners to handle the accumulation, recording, accuracy and control of accounting transactions and assist in the resolution of accounting issues! This individual coordinates workforce planning and career development activities for team members. The Accounting Manager holds team accountable for performing all work in accordance with requirements, standards, policies, procedures and processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate with others establish and maintain accounting policies, standards and processes in compliance with GAAP and accounting regulations. This person works with company partners to develop and handle financial analysis and reporting. The Accounting Manager manages the preparation of GAAP and FERC financial statements and conducts and presents research on GAAP and SEC technical accounting issues. This individual will collaborate with company partners on rate filings, FERC, and financial statement audits and ensure adherence to GAAP, FERC and SOX policies.

* Bachelor's degree and minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted accounting experience
* Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
* Knowledgeable of GAAP, SEC and SOX policies
* Previous experience leading or supervising a team
* Extensive financial reporting experience
* Strong technical accounting abilities
