Insight Global is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead a team for our client in Austin, Texas for a plastics company. The Sales Manager will be responsible for setting sales goals, analyzing data, leading a team of salespeople, and developing strategies for our sales representatives. This person will be supporting inside sales, outside sales, and the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a go-getter attitude, great communication, and the ability to build relationships with clients.
- 5+ years of experience in a management role in a sales environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of customer service practices and principles.
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience managing teams of 5-10 people
- Able to communicate strategy when it comes to meeting sales deliverables
- Coming from a plastic, distribution, industrial, metal, glass, fabrication, or manufacturing background.
