Insight Global is seeking an IT Continuous Improvement Consultant to join a Fortune 500 client. They are currently undergoing a significant IT Transformation, driving the need to establish a variety of new and "first of a kind" cross-organizational foundational processes. A variety of initial processes have been implemented, but there is a need to accelerate improvement. In this role, the IT CI Consultant will facilitate problems solving and Kaizen events focused on IT highest priority problems and process gaps. While facilitating these events, the IT CI Consultant will also build kaizen/problem solving capabilities. Furthermore, this CI consultant will partner with process owners to implement kaizen and problem-solving outcomes and help put in place mechanisms to ensure that target processes are sustained are continuously improved.
- 5+ years of experience in Kaizen and Formal Problem-Solving event facilitation for business functions
- 5+ years of experience in business process mapping and related tooling (in person and virtually)
- 5+ years of experience coaching and implementation of PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act)/Continuous improvement practices
- Facilitate cross functional Business Process (predominately IT related) Kaizen Event and Problem-Solving
- Root Cause Analysis Event Facilitation, including preparation, facilitation, implementation and sustain efforts
- Provide coaching and training to leadership and process owners to implement and sustain PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Adjust)
- Experience working within IT organizations with a high-level understanding of IT concepts
