As a Structural Superintendent, you will be playing a critical role in construction projects for building the world's largest factories. You will work primarily in the field managing and will be asked to work cross-functionally, interfacing with base build construction engineers, and manufacturing engineering teams while tracking a project's safety, schedule and budget. The Structural Superintendent is in charge of overseeing projects and programs, ensuring operations adhere to standards and requirements.
* Manage GC's, subcontractor's, and Self Perform trades in the field.
* Implementing & regulating safety policies and work plans
* Schedule and lead quality control and site safety inspections.
* Develop and communicate logistics and other operational plans necessary.
* Interface with base build construction engineering, and manufacturing engineering teams -- from install through start of production
* Direct work in field and track changes both individually and leading or participating in a larger team.
* Work with designers to facilitate construction design.
* Develop templates and standards for future phases/projects.
* Work with procurement team to create biddable work packages; track against estimate to manage costs and update appropriate teams.
* Coordinating with contractors and suppliers, monitoring the inventory of materials, purchasing supplies according to project requirements, developing reports and conducting inspections
* Direct experience on the structural side - overseeing steel specific structural projects in the construction of large industrial facilities
* 5-10 years of experience
* Related experience in general construction or commercial background (residential is not applicable)
* Oil & Gas is acceptable too
* OSHA 30 Certification
* Familiarity with Microsoft applications
* Good communication
* Ability to multi-task
