Insight Global is seeking a Technical Marketing Specialist that is local to Houston, Tx to join the team of one of our clients that specializes in pipeline products. This person will be responsible for monitoring market trends, researching and analyzing competitors and identifying potential opportunities for expansion and growth. They will also pull company and market data, present those findings to upper leadership and work cross functionally with the product development team as well as the sales and finance teams to co-develop strategies to better the company's business objectives. They will also be responsible for planning company marketing events and materials.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or a related field.
5-10 years of experience within marketing and customer intelligence, preferably within the oil and gas, mining, or marine transportation industries.
Experience using Pitchbook, Crunchbase, QuickBooks and Salesforce to gather insight, reports and market data on customers and products
Proven ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
Strong presentation and communication skills
