Insight Global is looking for a Network Support Coordinator to join a Fortune 100 client in Mexico. The Network Support Coordinator will be supporting a wireless network refresh across 650+ sites to swap out old Aruba equipment with wireless Cisco and Cradle Point hardware. This individual will work with the project management team and the outsourced deployment and support team to support the upgrade. This resource will be responsible for tracking the current amount of inventory, coordinating new equipment needs, and overseeing shipments and delivery. This resources will also be responsible for reviewing and validating network documentation (LLDs (low-level designs), port forwarding/mapping, cabling surveys, and wireless surveys), and identifying errors during hyper-care and cutover. The ideal candidate will require level 2 networking knowledge and experience and have a strong sense of leadership to rally cross-functional teams to meet delivery deadlines.
- 5+ years of experience working as a network support engineer or similar field
- Experience supporting a large scale network upgrade or refresh
- Proven ability to review and validate network documentation (LLDs (low-level designs), port forwarding/mapping, cabling surveys, and wireless surveys)
- Technical knowledge around Cisco networking equipment (switches, routers, APs, etc.)
- Experience utilizing and opening tickets in the ServiceNow system
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to work cross functionally with global teams. Strong sense of leadership.
