An employer is looking for an Business Planning Manager (Finance Manager) to sit in Austin, TX for one of the largest telecom companies in the Nation. This person will be part of the field operations department. This manager will help handle budgets around 600 million operating and capital expenses. They will help with budgeting, forecasting and should be knowledge with the accrual process. They will spend 30% of their day communicating with internal stakeholders, 50% working on the budget or forecast, 20% managing 4 other direct reports (coordinator, AP specialist, analysts).
-5+ years experience as a financial analyst or financial manager
-Experience with handling enterprise level budgeting and forecasting
-Expert level excel skills (sumif, index match, vlookup, pivot tables)
-Experience mentoring or managing a team
-Bachelors Degree
-Strong Communication Skills
