This pivotal role demands an individual capable of diving in immediately, leveraging minimal training. They will be tasked with interpreting a bill of materials and network design, the ideal candidate will sculpt the network infrastructure accordingly. Proficiency in Juniper and Aruba is paramount for this role, handling intricate implementations, including occasional wireless projects.
The position is based in Houston, TX and requires approximately 50% travel, primarily within Texas, yet occasional travel across the United States is anticipated. Embracing a hybrid work model, this role necessitates on-site presence just twice a week or as per project exigencies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience in network engineering
Experience with Juniper, Xtreme, and HP Aruba networking equipment
Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching
Must be able to run and perform wired and wireless implementations
Experience with network security and troubleshooting
