Job Description
The Clinical Application Analyst is responsible for providing leadership and direction with the design, coding, debugging, testing and implementing of complex clinical information systems and solutions. The Clinical Application Analyst possesses key clinical expertise, advanced technical knowledge and skills in assigned software applications and various system environments. The Clinical Application Analyst is responsible for developing and following project schedules, plans and timelines. The Clinical Application Analyst is also responsible for developing, conducting and evaluating training sessions for staff, as required. The Clinical Application Analyst participates in team projects, assists with group direction and guidance, coordinates work assignments and problem resolution efforts. The Clinical Application Analyst performs the planning, conducting and evaluating of training sessions for end-users and Information Systems staff. The Clinical Application Analyst leads or supports the Project Management activities required to deliver business oriented, valuable and relevant solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Working knowledge of the following Cerner tools MedManager, formulary manager, DCPTools, Locations, Bedrock, phadbtools, phabatchdispense, PowerChart, cspricing.
- Needs to know how to add and approve prescribers for eRx.
- Should have some knowledge of troubleshooting steps for Pyxis issues i.e., pharm load/unload, patients not showing and/or meds not showing.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Located in TX or CST timezone
- Knowledge of the following tools would be helpful cloverleaf global monitor, SI troubleshoot (hl7), corecodebuilder, HNAuser and discerndev, DA2, inventory manager, Multum.
