Insight Global is looking for a FP&A Product Owner to join a Fortune 100 client in Plano, TX. The FP&A Product Owner will develop and drive product roadmaps for FP&A systems that are soon to be retired and the build out of a new FP&A system within SAP S4 HANA. They will help oversee resources supporting legacy application retirements and migration to SAP S4 HANA to drive project completion and ensure SLAs are met. Long-term the PO will serve as the functional liaison between the business teams and technical teams to drive product strategy for FP&A systems. This individual will serve as the business relationship manager to business partners, and work cross-functionally across the enterprise to understand their requirements and strategize with technical teams to develop and implement the necessary solutions. This resource will present to senior leadership to discuss status updates, roadblocks, timeline, budget, and overall strategy. The product owner should expect to server in an advisory capacity for other projects that may need additional support. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an enterprise-level environment and possess strong leadership skills with an analytical and solution-based mindset.
- 5-7+ years of experience working as a product owner or program manager (with a focus in managing FP&A systems/applications)
- Functional knowledge of SAP financial modules (ECC or S4 HANA)
- Experience developing roadmaps/product strategy, gathering and translating requirements, writing functional specifications, user stories, and driving product road maps
- Experience utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO) as a management tool
- Experience managing data visualization dashboards (Essbase, Tableau, Power BI, Hyperion, etc.)
- Proven leadership/management skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to work cross functionally between global business and technical teams
- Experience with procurement systems/applications
