Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Sr Manager, Cyber Security Architecture & Engineering to join a large Chemical Manufacturing company here in Irving, TX or Houston, TX. We are looking for a hands-on Senior Manager with extensive Security Architecture and Engineering experience to develop our Security Architecture and Engineering program strategy and oversee implementation. This role will report to the Chief Information Security Officer.



Define, develop, implement and maintain the ongoing security initiatives across all areas of the enterprise Security such as: Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Infrastructure Security, Data Security, IT applications Security, AI/ML Security, Email Security, Mobile Security, and professional services while delivering a world-class and visionary approach that will enable a distinctive competitive advantage for the future.



We are in search of a people leader with proven experience developing and managing teams, as well as an excellent communicator with customers, stakeholders, executives and regulators. This individual will have strong operational knowledge of the security tool (and vendor) landscape and a track record of optimizing and automating processes to achieve measurable efficiency and accuracy gains with metrics/KPI is required.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of relevant security architecture and engineering experience.

5+ years of leadership experience leading global remote teams.

CISSP or equivalent certification; or computer science related education.

Strong understanding of security architecture and engineering concepts such as SABSA, Zachman and TOGAF.

Documented experience and a strong working knowledge of the methodologies to conduct threat-modeling exercises on new applications and services.

Full-stack knowledge of IT infrastructure: Applications, Databases, Operating systems (Windows, UNIX and Linux), Hypervisors, IP networks (WAN, LAN), Storage networks (Fiber Channel, iSCSI and network-attached storage), Backup networks and media.

Strong working knowledge of IT service management (e.g., ITIL-related disciplines): Change Management, Configuration Management, Asset Management, Incident Management, Problem Management.

Experience designing the deployment of applications and infrastructure into public cloud services (specifically Microsoft Azure).

Expert experience with security metrics and measurements and process automation.

Understand what it means to "think like a hacker" and take the attacker viewpoint to design security controls.

Familiarity with cyber security monitoring, detection, incident response and investigations using MITRE TTPs.

Strategic planning skills.

Financial analysis experience

Project management experience

ICS and OT experience
