An employer in San Antonio, TX is looking for a Lab Technologist to join their high-volume production laboratory. This person will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day functions in the laboratory. They will perform all task from sample shipment and unboxing to benchwork testing. This person will perform accessioning and sorting of the blood and plasma samples from their clients, they will learn how to operate and function all laboratory equipment, they will be able to identify which samples will be tested on certain platforms, and document all test results. They will review test results and assays and follow SOP's. This person will need to be very analytical and be able to operate at a fast pace in a high volume environment.
o Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science (Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology etc.)
o 6+ months of experience in the laboratory, Medical technician role, or regulated setting
o Must have a strong professional reference
