An employer is looking to hire a Network Engineer to help with technical support on one of their large telecommunications projects. This candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in network engineering and understand TCP/IP protocols. On a daily basis, this person will use their network troubleshooting skills to identify problems in the network infrastructure and then help fix them. A qualified candidate will have experience working with Cisco routers and switches, IP networks and TCP/IP technologies (DNS, SNMP, etc...), and have experience interfacing with external customers.
-5+ years of experience working with TCP/IP technologies, routing protocols, and LAN and WAN experience in an ISP environment
-2+ years of experience working in a telecommunications environment
-2+ years of experience supporting site roll-outs, specifically working with network security and technical support of routers and servers
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar
-Certifications: CCNA, CCNP
