Safety Intern

Insight Global is looking to hire on a Safety Intern for a large manufacturing company in the Dallas, TX area. This candidate will be an Intern for 3 months and then ideally will move into a salaried position. This role will be reporting to the Plant Manager and assisting them with all safety aspects at the Plant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate safety project, audits, record keeping and training for the plant
- Incident investigations
- Executing yearly safety plan for the plant operations
- Communicating with leadership and implementing safety practices

- Bachelors Degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Intermediate computer skills
- Microsoft Office experience
- Wanting to pursue a career in the manufacturing industry
- Okay with working in a plant environment

- Bachelors degree in EHS or Safety field
- OSHA certification
- Certified safety professional
