An O&G client in The Woodlands, TX is looking for a Process Engineer to join their Field Operations team. This role is an ongoing contract that will be renewed on a yearly basis & has a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 remote) with every other Friday off (9/80). This person will be providing support to maintain production uptime and optimize operating expense by focusing on debottlenecking, process control, product quality, ideal operating windows, and chemical programs. They will conduct surveillance on equipment and process, identify remedial or proactive measurements to sustain or improve uptime, ensure that export product quality meets pipeline and overboard water specifications, establish KPIs for performance of major equipment and processes including their operating envelopes, and participate in facility and major project hazard reviews.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering with focus on fluid mechanics and hydrocarbon processing preferred)
10+ years of experience in oil and gas processing
Gulf of Mexico Deepwater experience
Operations support or design background
Proficiency in process software (PVTSim, UniSim/Hysis, PipeSim)
Offshore Operations experience
Ability to go offshore 3-4x/year
