A Client of Insight Global is seeking a Azure Architect to sit remote in any of these states: Illinois, Arizona, Texas, Minnesota, or California



As an Azure Architect, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing Azure cloud solutions for our clients. Your expertise in Azure architecture and infrastructure will contribute to the success of our data center operations. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and have access to state-of-the-art facilities.

Responsibilities:

Optimization and Reliability Expertise: With an unwavering commitment to excellence, refine and enhance Azure services. Whether it is optimizing virtual machines, containers, or databases, your mission is to push boundaries and set new benchmarks in cloud service reliability, efficiency, and capability.

Azure Solutions Design and Management: Craft, deploy, and supervise Azure solutions tailored to meet the organization's objectives. Your role is to ensure these solutions are optimal, efficient, reliable, and forward-looking.

Architectural Leadership: Take the helm in Azure solution discussions, shaping the direction and providing transformative recommendations that not only meet but exceed stakeholder expectations.

End-to-End Infrastructure Proficiency: From concept to completion, design and supervise Azure infrastructure elements, spanning from foundational networks to the more intricate cloud assets. Your role is not just to deploy; it is to redefine what is possible.

Identity and Access Control: Spearhead efforts using leading identity management tools to implement robust and adaptable identity and access management protocols.

Security and Monitoring: Vigilantly monitor the integrity and security of our Azure resources. Ensure rapid response and mitigation strategies for any potential threats or breaches.

Mobile Security: Harness advanced tools to oversee mobile devices within the organization and ensure the sanctity and security of corporate data.

DevOps Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate best-in-class DevOps practices, streamlining the development lifecycle and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.

Strategic Planning: Work closely with the Leadership, Security, and IT teams to provide input on the company's cloud strategy. Analyze current architectures and shape roadmap recommendations based on forecasted cloud advancements.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3+ years specializing in Azure solutions design, deployment, and management.

7-10+ years of infrastructure/systems engineering

Solid grasp of a wide spectrum of Azure cloud services, with a focus on aspects like computer, networking, storage, databases, and holistic security.

Advanced capability in scripting and automation, preferably using PowerShell or Azure CLI.

Hands-on experience, preferably of 2+ years, with advanced identity management tools.

Prior experience with leading security monitoring tools and frameworks, ensuring a resilient and threat-proof digital ecosystem.

Comprehensive experience in integrating DevOps best practices and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Microsoft Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Management Administrator, and other related certifications are a big plus.

Masters in Computer science
