Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a BPM Applications QA Lead in LATAM to work for a large oil field services company. They will be leading a team size of 6-8 people globally primarily focused on BPM applications more heavily on the API testing than UI. This person will be responsible for understanding business requirements for creating key test deliverables such as test strategies, plans, scenarios, and test data etc. They will be doing test estimation, scheduling, requirements traceability, execution, and reporting results to various audiences. This person will have a strong background in manual testing, load and performance testing/stress testing. They will be responsible for evaluating resources and/or giving feedback on resources. They also need to be familiar with filling out status reports. This person will need to have experience developing processes and procedures and establishing metrics. This person must have the communication and technical writing skills necessary to produce formal test specifications and test plans based off functional, design and requirements specifications and work with automation teams. This person will apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques. This person will have a scrum meeting at 7:00/7:30am CDT regularly and be willing to work in US time zone with minimum overlap of 3-4 hours.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of hands on experience in testing practices, integration and component level testing, and API testing
2-4 years of experience in leading Testing efforts of a cloud based apps (BPM Apps)
2-3 years of hands-on experience in Software testing of Web and Desktop based enterprise level applications
Experience conducting in-depth analysis of Azure data and services
Experience validating data streams, outputs, and on-prem databases
Experience with Azure performance testing and monitoring
Ability to create strategy and performance metrics related to scaling Azure environments
Ability to create testing strategy to address challenges in a distributed Azure environment
Experience in Azure DevOps for test management
Candidate must have English communication and technical writing skills necessary to produce formal test specifications and test plans based off functional, design and requirements specifications.
Experience of testing within an Agile framework, Scrum using structured testing and release methods
Experience leading a team of 4+ team members

Oil and gas industry experience
Automated testing experience with Selenium, Java, and/or C#
Cross browser and regional testing for web apps in a distributed system environment
