Insight Global is seeking a Crude Oil & Condensate Scheduler to sit onsite in Downtown Houston 5 days per week. This is a direct hire salaried position. The Scheduler is responsible for working closely with producers in South TX production basin to facilitate flow and disposition of their daily oil flow into various forms of transportation. Schedule crude oil movements on ships, barges, trucks, and pipelines, and work closely with pipeline and trucking companies to ensure needed capacity is obtained to meet daily requirements. Communication with traders to ensure correct flow of volume for all transactions. Truck scheduling/dispatching responsibilities, cost calculation, management, and tracking for transportations methods. Close relationship with field personal and third party trucking companies. Manage and report inventories in pipelines and terminals, and measurement and loss control monitoring. Provide Accounting with support and scheduling generated spreadsheets by EOM close deadlines for invoicing and payments. Provide analytical support to various departments and traders as needed. Daily volume reconciliation and system update.
2+ years of experience in crude oil scheduling, operating, or trading role
Experience with crude oil trucking operations and TX midstream oil gathering and transportation business
Experience working directly with traders, internal and external counterparties, shippers, and operators
Experience with monthly and daily nominations, scheduling, confirmations, system volume updates, and producer contact
Microsoft Office Suite
