Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Subject Matter Consultant (SMC) of Semiconductor Equipment Procurement, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating proposals to semiconductor manufacturing projects. Your role will involve leveraging your extensive experience in semiconductor equipment procurement, specifically in the purchase of entire fab equipment, both new and refurbished, across various semiconductor domains, including CMOS, display manufacturing, Compound Semiconductors, Discrete, Sensors, Silicon Photonics, and Semiconductor Packaging.
Required Skills & Experience
* Director-level or above experience in semiconductor equipment procurement.
* Comprehensive understanding of the purchase of entire fab equipment, encompassing both new and refurbished units.
* Profound knowledge of semiconductor equipment costs, particularly in the context of CMOS, display manufacturing, Compound Semiconductors, Discrete, Sensors, Silicon Photonics, and Semiconductor Packaging.
* Experience in 300mm equipment procurement for full semiconductor production lines.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
* Ability to commit to a 1-year engagement with flexibility for variable hours based on proposal load.
* Will to travel to India if required by the project. All the travel, lodging, boarding will be borne by client if there is need to travel.
